Implenting Alcohol Screening and a Brief Intervention for HIV Patients: Pilot of Training Curriculum (4hrs) February 26, 9am - 1pm
NDRI and Project STAR (Staff Training for Alcohol Reduction) invites you to participate in the piloting of a new 4-hour course for HIV care providers (counselors, social workers, case managers, nurses, physicians, etc.) on implementing an alcohol screening and brief intervention on alcohol reduction. The goal of this course is to teach HIV care providers how to screen patients for alcohol use and how to use a motivational, brief, and effective intervention to help patients reduce this use in order to better preserve their health.
