All HAP partner-agencies are chosen based on specific LGBT identified needs. Being a partner-agency involves an initial on-site meeting, and possibly additional meetings, with the HAP Program Manager and the collaborative development of a specific training/technical assistance work plan mutually agreeable to the partner-agency and the HAP Program Manager.
Development of the training/technical assistance work plan may include additional on-site visits, focus groups and or individual interviews with staff, volunteers, peers and clients as needed.
Upon completion of the training/technical assistance work plan partner-agencies will engage in a closure meeting and one follow-up contact to assess the impact of the training/technical assistance received. Partner-agencies will be informed of the outcome of this assessment.
Each HAP partner-agency, based upon need, can receive a maximum total of two days of training and or technical assistance.
