Suggested Trainings
Regional Training Centers (RTC) conduct the courses listed below. NDRI, Inc. is under contract with the NYS Department of Health - AIDS Institute as an RTC to offer courses to individuals residing or working in the following counties: Bronx, Queens, Kings, Richmond, and Manhattan. The programs are also offered across the state. To register for suggested trainings go to www.hivtrainingny.org.
Trainings for People Delivering HIV Testing: Although the following courses are not required in in New York State, we suggest that people who wish to successfully, accurately and sensitively conduct HIV test counseling would greatly benefit from taking the 'HIV Testing in NYS' course (to become updated on the new streamlined guidelines or for those just starting this type of work) and the 'HIV Testing Skills Practice Session' (for those who are just starting to test).
