FREE TRAININGS!!!!

 

The Training Institute of NDRI is delighted to inform you that the AIDS InstituteJanuary to June 2010 calendar of FREE trainings is now available.  View course descriptions before registering at online registration  for NEW trainings such as, ‘Group Facilitation for STD/HIV Prevention' and 'Improving Health Outcomes for HIV Positive Individuals' and more.  Many of the trainings are approved for CASAC credits.  If you need technical assistance, please call 212.845.4550 or email at NDRITraining@ndri.org.

Cultural Proficiency in Drug Court Practice
 

National Development and Research Institutes is subcontracted by National Drug Court Institute (NDCI) to facilitate the 'Cultural Proficiency for Drug Court Practice' training to selected Drug Courts from 1/1/10-12/31/10.

 

This skill building team training is designed to train Family, Juvenile, and Adult implementation drug court teams in agency-level (treatment services and the justice system) and systems-level (client and drug court practitioner) issues of cultural proficiency. These trainings are either African American or Latino centric, contingent upon the population served and the drug court region. For more information, go to Cultural Proficiency Training.

 

We are also developing a Latino centric version of the training to be field tested with Drug Courts that provide services to a large latino population.  For more information email www.NDRITraining.org.
